It’s a phenomenal thing when a trailer for a video game can evoke a deep emotional connection with the viewer. This one did it for me and all I can say is…WOW! Dead Island releases on September 6, 2011 for Playstation 3, XBox 360, and PC.

Bizarre Behaviors: Horsemaning The New Fad
I’ll admit, this really has nothing to do with Halloween, but it is seriously one of the creepiest things I’ve seen recently. You may have heard of planking, (photographing and posting a picture of yourself laying face-down like a stiff board in unusual locations). You might also have heard of the more bizarre version of this “game” called owling (a variation of “planking” where someone squats like an owl.) But now there is another strange fad called Horsemaning. Sources claim this fad actually started in the 1920’s, hence the creepy beheaded girl picture above, but I’m sure if I asked my grandmother (if she were still alive), she would have said your crazy…no one did this except maybe a few morbidly weird kids with too much time and rich parents. In any case, “horsemaning” is making a comeback as the latest internet fad. You know what? I think this one is actually pretty cool. WHAT IF YOU MIXED THIS WITH ZOMBIE MAKEUP??? Just a thought… Continue reading
Scariest Video Game of All Time?
The guy in this video is playing a computer game called Amnesia: The Dark Decent. I’ve heard this game is especially terrifying, especially if you turn off the lights and play alone. You can find lots of entertaining “Amnesia” reaction videos on Youtube. People who have played this game admit that these reactions are very real…which makes me want to run out and buy this game immediately! Continue reading
Undead Nightmare is Awesome
What is cooler than gunslingers in the Wild West? How about gunslingers fighting zombies in the Wild West! The creators of Red Dead Redemption have truly outdone themselves this time with a fantastic new adventure appropriately called Undead Nightmare. And it is just that. The undead have taken over the entire world of Red Dead and your mission is to stop them, save as many survivors you can and find a cure for your family who become infected in the first 10 minutes of the game. It’s anything but easy…I mean the zombies are everywhere! Some of them can run and spit stuff at you. And you don’t have the vast amount of ammo available in the first game making it much harder to kill the horrifying creatures. Speaking of creatures, the ordinary beasts of the wild west are infected as well. So you’ll have to fight off giant bats and other sinister creatures in addition to the zombie hordes. I’ve just started the game so I have a lot of fun to discover! Great job Rockstar Games!
